The MyVillage Project Community Funds
The first MyVillage Project Community Fund was founded at the Community Foundation for Northeast Florida in 2017. Since then, the foundation has been a critical partner and supporter of our work. With their help, the fund has raised and distributed over $1.8M to over 92 Black nonprofits in the Jacksonville community.
With investment from forward-thinking funders like you, we have established MyVillage Project community funds in each of our member communities. Local leaders and MyVillage Project members govern these funds, pooling resources for collective programming with community nonprofits.
Our member nonprofits meet, plan and celebrate together throughout the year. Leaders share what is working in their programs, help one another raise funds and reach more families, and strengthen the partnerships that improve outcomes for students and families across our communities.
