The MyVillage Project Community Funds

The initial MyVillage Project Community Fund was founded at the Community Foundation for Northeast Florida in 2017. Since then, the community foundation has been a critial partner and supporter of the work of MVP. With their help, the fund has raised and distributed over $1.8M to over 92 Black nonprofits in the Jacksonville community.

With the investment of forward-thinking funders such as you, we have established additional MyVillage Project community funds in all of our member communities. These funds are governed by local leaders and members of the MyVillage Project with a focus on collective programming with community nonprofits.

The Annual Co-Creation Leadership Institute brings together nonprofit executives and young professionals committed to working with Black communities to build an ecosystem of innovation. These leaders learn and share strategies for strengthening partnerships to improve outcomes for students and families.

Helping funders reimagine education and invest in the vision of Black communities.
